Rolner Alliance

Hello! I’m Rolner Alliance, a UX designer based in Atlanta, Georgia. I have been creating impactful designs for the past 10 years, starting during my graduate program at the University of Washington. I was born in Miami, Florida, to Haitian immigrant parents. As a first-generation American, I’ve drawn from my diverse background not only to navigate life but as a source of inspiration for empathetic design. UX design has always been my vehicle for supporting the communities I care about.

Human-Centered Advocate

My goal as a UX designer is to craft valuable digital experiences. Value is measured partly by the lasting impact these experiences have on users. I embrace strategies that allow my team to utilize resources and research effectively, enabling us to understand problem spaces and design innovative solutions to address them.

UX Business Acumen

The other half of the value equation is its impact on the business. Good UX must also be feasible, sustainable, and beneficial to the business. Creating designs that improve user experiences while fostering business growth is paramount. Without considering business impact, products and features risk having minimal purpose. I prioritize collaboration with product partners to understand business needs, ensuring features and updates meet success criteria at all stages—design handoff, launch, and post-update.

A Collaborator

The triad consists of the designer, the product manager or product owner, and the developer. In this triad, we pool our expertise to create memorable features and experiences. Triads foster trust and ingenuity by empowering each expert to excel in their roles. I strive to be a strong contributor to my triad, bringing design thinking to the table. This enables us to employ methods and strategies that complement both technical implementation and business intelligence.
