Moviepass was a mobile application dedicated to providing customers with an innovative movie-going experience. With a small subscription fee, users can purchase unlimited movie tickets at the movie theater.

Problem

Moviepass partnered with film companies and movie theaters to provide more value to customers by creating a curated list of movie releases. Unfortunately, users would only see a one-day forecast of these curated movies. Users needed a new calendar that provided a 7-day movie forecast; they could plan movie outings.

Multiple versions were designed and reviewed with Senior designers. The shared critique was that the calendar should incorporate movie posters; they are iconic and help distinguish movie titles.
